Now I have watched quite a few How Too videos over the years. Never have I heard this story of value business model vs. income business model. I guess that this is going to be a great learning experience for me. I’m buckled in and ready for a wild ride. You sound like you got your stuff together Anik, let’s start building one more empire!
Hi Anik, I love the passion that you put into your presentation, I think that you have no choice but to start the income business first, how else could you get the money together?
I have to agree with the parting of the two concepts; they are water & oil. They both float to the surface, they run together but they never mixed.
I always made my money (what money?) by income; just incoming money and yes I built the big house and I spent the month in Europe and this and that. I never wanted to have the office with the payroll and the secretary. My concept is, get in the system and get out of the system. You have to ask you this question: How many pairs of pants can you wear at the same time, in other words how much money do you need to live YOUR life.

Currently, Open Door Ventures, Inc. is primarily an income business involving two different programs: teaching piano and internet marketing. The latter is the newest venture, and is the primary method to be used to establish multiple streams of income for upcoming public projects and the needs of my family. From your video I also expect to use the income from ODV, Inc. to further diversify and development a separate value business.

Great information, well organized and not boring. Makes me interested to come back and watch video 2. This is a good thing. The distracting issues for me were the random editing and the audio sync problems. An overall aesthetic that seems incongruent with an experienced power house Internet Marketer/Entrepreneur…And that’s all I got to say about that…

Good video and insights. Your video editing is peculiar though. Are you testing some newfangled discovery to keep viewers attention by movement and replacement? I rarely watch video (rather read at my own pace) but the length of this was perfect.
The movement of your jewelry definitely caught my eye. In fact I watched again to see if the ring moved with the bracelet..lol. Good stuff since I also listened again. Could you reveal the the results of your eye movement testing..lol

I haven’t ever thought of it in the precise manner you just described but I can see how the two would not really mix. I like the idea of a value business but to actually build a good value business you need a large chunk of investment money to start and a continual supply to grow. With that in mind I am with you 100% on starting with an income business.

Thank you for making clear the difference between an Income Business and a value business. I know that for the present I need and want an Income business. Once I get my financial footing then I can then invest in building a value business. I guess the important to remember is that either way to be successful you have to have a team, build good relationships and continue growing yourself.
Great information Anik, not the same stuff you see being rehashed out there over and over! You can tell how passionate you are about the business and that makes it easier to spend the time to go thru your videos. Time well spent, as you know, this thing we call time is a precious commodity and we want to make sure we are spending wisely if we want to get to our dream life! I have studied quite a bit on internet marketing but am really just getting started taking the action behind the education. I just launched 18 halloween niche websites and learned a ton about how to use WordPress effectively to get on the first page of google. I was shocked when I saw how fast you could get there when you know what your doing and take the TIME to implement proven strategies.
At any rate, keep putting the great information out there. After all, isn’t this the information age we are currently living in!!
I agree with most of your points, however some need to be discussed further, I will hold a small conversation with my buddies and perhaps I will look for you some advice shortly.

Question: If I understood you correctly, I should have a DIFFERENT Income business rather than my passion business? The web sites listed above are all based on marketing products (2 are MLM and one is sales). I am assuming that you don’t think that these are the way to accumulate great wealth online.

Start with an income business build the capital we all need, especially in today’s climate, and then slowly create a value business.
