For me, the key will be to define a financial transition point at which I can move from being an income business to a value business. Once I can project that, I can “back into” the time at which I will begin business planning. My long range goal would be to continuously spin off new income businesses which can be built into value businesses, then sell and repeat.

Yes, yes. I agree with your comments in the first video regarding income versus value where both are needed to run a successful business. I see how I have gotten hooked onto different programs for each of these, but didn’t really understand the difference. In looking ahead toward my end goal I have indeed been trying to combine the two in an attempt to get things moving along better. In short, nothing is really moving and I’ve gotten discouraged. Your warning against combining these two concepts has made me stop to rethink my strategy. Thanks, Anik. My current focus should be on the income aspect for now, and then onto creating the value portion of my business.

Income vs Value
This is one decision that shouldn’t be made lightly. Get this wrong and you can end up going around in circles. One of my mistakes was thinking that I could have a hybrid of both an income and value business. I now know that my thinking was flawed and I can just focus on one (income to start).

I had to reign it in just a bit myself. I found that I was spending an inordinate amount of time chasing points instead of continuing to grow my business. Like starting to build a list, which I had avoided until I read Anik’s report.
After making the adjustment, I find that I am more focused in my efforts to spread the Empire Formula word since I know that my time is limited.

I hope that I can do this, I am the man of the house but I am laid up can’t do the work I was trained for, But now days you have a lot you have to know but they don’t want to pay you for it.
